Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live to make a purchase. If you use the website or purchase on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Digital products and product descriptions

B² Labs sells downloadable recipe guides and related digital materials. No physical product will be shipped unless a product page expressly says otherwise. We try to describe each product accurately, but screen displays, third-party ingredient packaging, availability, and product specifications may change. The product description and price shown at checkout control your purchase.

Orders, payment, taxes, and delivery

Checkout, payment processing, confirmation emails, and file delivery are provided through Stan and its supported payment providers. Their separate terms and privacy practices also apply to your use of their services. You authorize the amount shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes or fees, to be charged to your selected payment method.

Access is typically provided after a completed purchase through the confirmation page or purchase email. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to it. We may cancel or refuse an order because of suspected fraud, pricing or technical errors, or legal requirements. If we cancel a paid order before delivery, the amount paid for that order will be refunded.

Refund policy

Because digital products are made available immediately after purchase, all sales are final once access or a download is provided. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, failure to review the product description, or purchasing the wrong digital product.

This policy does not limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. If a purchased file is defective, is materially different from its description, or cannot be accessed, contact us using the creator contact information on your Stan receipt. We will make a reasonable effort to repair or replace the file and, when required by law or when we cannot provide the purchased product, provide an appropriate refund.

Personal-use license and ownership

After full payment, B² Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the purchased product for your personal, non-commercial use. This is a license, not a sale or transfer of intellectual-property rights.

You may make a reasonable backup copy for yourself. You may not share account or download access; reproduce, resell, sublicense, distribute, publish, upload, scrape, or publicly display the product; remove rights notices; use it to train an artificial intelligence or machine-learning system; or use it or any substantial part of it to create a competing product. A material violation of these license restrictions terminates the license. B² Labs retains all rights not expressly granted.

Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, evade security or access controls, use automated means to extract content, impersonate another person, violate another person’s rights, or use the website or products for an unlawful purpose. We may suspend access to protect the website, other users, or our rights.

Nutrition, allergy, and safety disclaimer

Recipes, ingredient information, serving sizes, cost figures, and macro or nutrition estimates are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They are estimates, not guarantees. Actual values and results vary based on brands, formulations, substitutions, quantities, preparation methods, equipment, and measurement differences.

B² Labs does not provide medical, dietetic, or other professional health advice, and no product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult a qualified professional before making material dietary changes, particularly if you are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or have a medical condition, allergy, intolerance, or special dietary need.

You are solely responsible for checking every ingredient and substitute, including manufacturer labels and cross-contact warnings, and for following food-safety and equipment instructions. Stop use and seek appropriate medical attention if you experience an adverse reaction.

Third-party services, products, and affiliate links

The website and products may link to Stan, payment providers, Amazon, or other third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their products, pricing, availability, content, security, or practices. A link is not a guarantee or warranty.

Some links may be affiliate links. B² Labs may earn a commission from qualifying purchases, at no additional cost to you. We will also place a clear disclosure near affiliate recommendations where required; this section is not intended to replace that point-of-recommendation disclosure.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and digital products are provided “as is” and “as available.” B² Labs disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not promise that the website or files will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that following a recipe will produce a particular dietary, health, financial, or other result.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes an express promise in the applicable product description or a warranty that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Birch Labs, LLC and its members, managers, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or relating to the website, a digital product, or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, their total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to a product or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid B² Labs for the product giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by a party where such a limitation is prohibited, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Your responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses, claims, and costs B² Labs incurs because of your intentional unlawful distribution of a product, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your material violation of these Terms. B² Labs will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and will not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by you without your consent.

Disputes and Utah law

Before filing a claim, you and B² Labs agree to make a good-faith effort for 30 days to resolve it informally. Send a written description of the issue and requested resolution using the creator contact information on your Stan receipt. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or filing in small-claims court where eligible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding must be brought in a Utah state court with jurisdiction over the county where B² Labs has its principal place of business or, if federal jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court for the District of Utah. You and B² Labs consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

This choice of law and forum does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections of your home jurisdiction or any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes, termination, and general terms

We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and effective date. The Terms shown when you purchase govern that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise. Continued website use after revised Terms take effect means the revised Terms apply to that later use.

If any provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign these Terms as part of a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of the business. These Terms, the applicable product description, and the policies linked at checkout are the entire agreement concerning your purchase.

Information we handle

We may receive order and support information from Stan or from you, such as your name, email address, product purchased, transaction status, purchase date, and messages. We do not directly collect or store full payment-card numbers through this website.

Our hosting and analytics providers may process technical and usage data such as timestamps, requested pages, referring pages, filtered query information, approximate location, browser, operating system, device type, and security logs. We do not ask you to submit health information through this website.

How we use information

We use information to complete and support purchases, deliver files, answer questions, troubleshoot access, prevent fraud and abuse, secure and operate the website, understand aggregate site usage, maintain business records, enforce our agreements, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How information is disclosed

We may disclose information to vendors that help us host, analyze, sell, deliver, secure, and support our products; to professional advisers; when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or prevent fraud; or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business. We require service providers to handle information for the services they provide, subject to their contracts and applicable law.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and general traffic patterns. Vercel states that Web Analytics uses anonymized, aggregated data and does not use third-party cookies for this service. Stan and other websites you visit through our links may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies and controls.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including order support, tax and accounting, dispute resolution, security, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type and service provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children’s privacy

This website and our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Your privacy choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that B² Labs controls, subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. Use the creator contact information on your Stan receipt to submit a request. For information controlled by Stan, a payment provider, or a social platform, submit your request directly to that provider.

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable privacy law covers B² Labs, you may have additional rights and a right to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by law.

Privacy-notice changes

We may update this notice as our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised notice here with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law.
